art direction / design / photography
De Los (Los Angeles Times) co-presented with Grand Performances to bring a free concert for everyone that was part of a summer series. Grammy-winning & Oscar-nominated artist Adrian Quesada brought his visionary sound, debuting music from his highly anticipated album Boleros Psicodélicos II. The stacked lineup included El Marchante, Explorare, and special guests Angélica Garcia, Cuco, Trish Toledo, Gaby Moreno, and Mireya Ramos. From the music to the energy in the crowd, every moment was a celebration of art, community, and connection.
I created a poster, social media assets for the event, and designed tote bags that were part of a giveaway. When promoting this, we executed a social media rollout and coordinated with Grand Performances and Adrian Quesada's team.
I wanted to channel a fun and trippy vibe to the design based off of Adrian's psychedelic sounds by incorporating swirly shapes overlaid with city imagery of the venue at California Plaza. I also photographed the event and channeled the lively energy in a recap carousel.
From print to social, I executed deliverables for the summer concert series.
